Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how I, Naveen Kumar, the developer and sole maintainer of FlowDocu, collect, use, and protect information when you use the FlowDocu website and application (the “Service”). By using FlowDocu, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

• Account information: when you create an account, I collect your first and last name, email address, job title, city, and country.
• Content you create: the diagrams, flows, descriptions, and other content you create or upload within the Service.
• Usage data: basic information about how you use the Service, so I can understand what's working and improve it.
• Local storage: the Service uses your browser's local storage to remember preferences such as light/dark mode. I don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

I use the information I collect to:

• provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
• authenticate your account and keep it secure;
• communicate with you about your account or respond to your messages; and
• understand how the Service is used so I can make it better.

I don't sell your personal information - there's no one to sell it to; it's just me.

• Supabase provides the authentication and database infrastructure behind the Service, and processes your account and diagram data on my behalf.
• AI-assisted features (if enabled): if you use a feature that generates diagram content with AI assistance, the text you submit for that feature may be sent to a third-party AI provider solely to generate the requested content.

I chose these providers because they maintain reasonable security and confidentiality standards.

I retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active. FlowDocu is free to use, and if at any point you'd like your account or data deleted - for any reason, no explanation needed - just email me at contact@flowdocu.com and I'll take care of it, except where I'm required to retain something by law.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can update most account information directly in the app, or email me at contact@flowdocu.com to make a request.

I use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and I can't guarantee absolute security - but I take reasonable care, and this isn't handed off to a third-party support team; it's just me looking after it.

FlowDocu is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. I'll post the updated version here with a new “Last updated” date.
